This project blended functionality with history, creating a workspace that not only facilitated navigation but also celebrated Ford's legacy in a dynamic, visually engaging way.

Ford Town Center Offices
-
Ford repurposed a former anchor store to create a new corporate office space that required a comprehensive wayfinding solution to guide employees through the space and connect the environment to the company’s rich history. The design challenge was to create a clear navigational strategy while incorporating elements of Ford's legacy into the space.
-
To achieve this, we developed an alpha-numeric addressing system, paired with a color-coded scheme, to clearly define distinct areas within the office. We also designed a history timeline using significant historical Ford advertisements. Each ad, representing key moments in Ford’s history, was individually selected from hundreds of old magazines, creating a curated narrative throughout the space.
The ads were displayed on large-scale wall graphics, while the magazines themselves were showcased in suspended display cases. These cases were anchored to the floor with actual Ford pistons, tying back to the company’s automotive heritage.
